Phú Hiệp Army Airfield, 15 July 1967

Summary[edit]

Description
English: During May and June the 577th Engineer Battalion completed work on the runway, taxiway and Mohawk apron at the new Army airfield at Tuy Hoa. In constructing this facility M8A1 matting was placed over a sand cement base. Remaining work includes the construction of a control tower, a maintenance and transit apron, a maintenance hangar, and a warehouse.
