Description
Deutsch: Blattschnitt der 24 Bairischen Landtafeln des Philipp Apian von 1568 Auf der Basis der „Großen Karte“ ließ Philipp Apian 1566 von Jost Amman Holzschnitte im kleineren Maßstab von 1:144.000 anfertigen. Diese so genannten Bairischen Landtafeln, aufgeteilt in 24 Holzschnitte, verlegte Apian in seiner eigenen Druckerei. Die Genauigkeit der Landkarten wurde erst im 19. Jahrhundert übertroffen. Noch Napoleon benutzte sie für den Einmarsch in Bayern.
