Summary[edit]

Description
English: Hand painted fan depicting philhellenic themes used during a concert that took place on 28 April 1826 in Vauxhall, Paris. During the course of the concert, ladies belonging to the aristocracy took to the stage and sang for the Greek people. A sideː Inscriptionː "To the homeland. Let's die to defend it and live to love it." Left flag with a cross and the horn of Amalthea from which funds in favor of the Greeks flow. B sideː names of the event organizers. Philhellenism Museum.
