| Description | Construction contractors visited the Folsom Dam auxiliary spillway Feb. 3, 2013 to get a final walkthrough of the project before submitting their proposals to work on the fourth phase of the project. Potential contractors walked the site for hours comparing maps and schematics, and observing geological features and granite core samples. Proposals must be submitted before Feb. 25 and contracts are expected to be awarded sometime in May. (U.S. Army photo by Capt. Michael N. Meyer/Released) |
