Summary[edit]

Description
Français : Phares d'alignement de La Rochelle (17), tous deux allumés.

Au 1er plan en livrée bicolore horizontale rouge & blanche, le dénommé Gabut. Peu visible au fond, masqué par un arbre, son homologue du quai Valin. Tour octogonale plus haute dont le sommet est peint en vert, surplombant une maison. Les deux ouvrages, distants d'environ 220 m et destinés à baliser le chenal d'accès aux bassins du Vieux Port, sont mis en service la même année, 1852.

Dans l'intervalle un magnifique spécimen de pin parasol, dont les pignons sont utilisés en cuisine, plats comme desserts !
