ORNITHOGALUM ARABICL'M.
ORNITHOGALUM
ARABICUM.
Star of Bethlehem. A beautiful var-
iety, throwing up a tall spike bearing
numerous large, milk-white, star-
shaped flowers, with a black centre,
and having a distinct aromatic per-
fume. Largely forced by florists for
cut flowers.

ALLIUMS.
FOR WINTER FORCING.
Hermittl Grandiflorum. A splendid
winter flowering and forcing variety ;
the flowers of immaculate whiteness
last a long time after being cut.
Blooms from December to the end of
April.

Neapolltanum. Another excellent var-
iety for winter flowering, extensively-
forced by florists for cut flowers, be-
ing of pure white with green stamens,
borne in large loose umbels.

MISCELLANEOUS FLORIST'S BULBS
WHITE CAJXAS. DRY ROOTS.
The dry bulbs are superior for forcing purposes, as they come into bloom
quickly and require less room — making less foliage. Dry bulbs planted in 4-inch
pots will flower nearly twice as abundantly as plants in 6-inch pots that have
been kept growing or only semi-dormant. (Delivery in Sep. ember.)

Much prized for their large 6-lobed
golden yellow, sweet-scented flowers,
perfectly hardy, and adapted for winter
forcing.

SPANISH IRIS.
This type is well adapted for pot cul-
ture and forcing, blooming in the win-
ter. The flowers are of great beauty,
and cut in the bud state last from one to
two weeks in bloom. If planted in boxes
and placed in cold frames until they
show bud. then brought into heat, they
can be had in bloom from March on.
British Queen Massive, pure white.
Leonidas. Dark, violet bine.
Belle Chinoise. Large, golden yellow.
Olympia. Creamy yellow and light blue.
Lllaceus. Porcelain blue.
Prince of Orange. Yellow, bronze and
blue.
