Deutsch: Muster eines „Personalausweis als Paßersatz.” Ausgestellt wurde dieser Typ ab Juni 1924, gemäß der Konvention über den Nansen-Paß (Konferenz in Genf 3.-5. Juli 1922), auch wenn dieser Name noch nicht auf dem Dokument erscheint. Originalgröße: 20½⨉32½ cm.
English: Specimen of a German “certificate of identity in lieu of passport,” type used from June 1924. Mainly but not exclusivly issued to stateless Russian refugees in accordance with the Nansen passport convention agreed upon in Geneva 3.-5. July 1922. Size of original 20½⨉32½ cm.
