Summary[edit]

Description
English: In a showcase with some smaller objects this was a Kneeling god with pole, the notice added in German "Gründungsurkunde", so it will have been buried in the ground under a building during the earliest phase of itr being erected. It's not known where it came from, it's from 2144-2124 BC. The date makes me think this must have been from the period and maybe the country of Gudea (Sumerian: 𒅗𒌤𒀀) who was a ruler (ensi) of the state of Lagash in Southern Mesopotamia who ruled c. 2144–2124 BC. See Wikipedia English).
