Description
English: Penrhyn Castle (National Trust): Bangor. This is a neo-Norman castle and is described by the National Trust as a 19th Century fantasy castle. It was built by Thomas Hopper between 1820 and 1845 for the wealthy Pennant family who obtained their wealth from Jamaican sugar and Welsh slate.
