Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Welsh mountain of Pen yr Ole Wen (elevation: 978m/3209ft; topographic prominence: 45m/148ft) is the most southerly mountain in the Carneddau Range of Snowdonia National Park, Wales. The image shows it taken from a car park near Llyn Ogwen. The patches of purple on the mountain are due to heather, which flowers during the summer.
