Description
English: Pen y Gelli old lime kiln chimney. The remains of the chimney from the lime kiln that stood on the site and was in operations between 1740 and 1890 this lime kiln was producing approx 35 tubs of lime daily. Most of the lime mortar used to build Mostyn Docks was supplied from this site.
