Se encuentra actualmente exhibida en el salón de Beneméritos de la Patria de la Asamblea Legislativa de la República de Costa Rica
Pedro Pérez Zeledón (1854-1930) fue un jurista, diplomático y escritor costarricense que ocupó varios cargos públicos, entre ellos el de ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, ministro de Fomento, diputado por San José y magistrado de la Corte Suprema de Justicia. Fue también un defensor de los intereses nacionales en los litigios limítrofes con Nicaragua y Panamá. El cantón número 19 de la provincia de San José lleva su nombre en su honor. |
