DescriptionPedestrian friendly ATM wanted, Mid-City New Orleans.jpg |
Here's a personal pet peeve. See that pedestrian at the drive-up ATM? That really makes my blood boil! Just to be clear, I'm not mad at the guy. Hell no. I'm a pedestrian myself. I was also coming to the ATM. I took this photo while inhaling exhaust from that SUV. I'm mad at my bank, Capital One. I even had an opportunity to consult with them on their redesign of this branch, and I begged them to accomodate pedestrians because, dammit, we live in an emininently walkable neighbhorhood. But they didn't listen to me. Incidentally, before I was done, another pedestrian came up to the other ATM. Three of us in the space of five minutes. I wish I could have gotten all of us in the photo at once. It's a frickin' travesty. |
