A scene from the dining room at Brøndums Hotel. Apparently the weather is not suitable for painting. The mixed Scandinavian group consists of (to the right) Christian Krogh; on his left side (back to the viewer) Charles Lundh, then to his left (in profile) Eilif Peterssen. Next to Peterssen is Wilhelm Peters, and above him Michael Ancher, ready to go hunting. Further right, Degn Brøndum, then Johan Krouthén and (with hat) Oscar Björck. Object history Exhibited at the Paris Salon 1884. Then set up in the dining room at Brøndums Hotel. After 1900, Degn Brøndum gifted it to Skagens Museum.
