| Description |
English: Pearse Street Garda Station This is a former DMP (Dublin Metropolitan Police) Station sited between Pearse Street and Townsend Street. The DMP was disbanded in 1925 and amalgamated with the Garda Siochana (Gaelic for Civil Guard) which in 1922 had replaced the former RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary) in the Irish Free State. In the North the RIC was reformed as the RUC.
