Tomb of Paul Tulane (1801-1887). He has has a university in New Orleans named after him. He was born in New Jersey, however and is buried in Princeton Cemetery. Tulane visited New Orleans as a teenager and decided to stay. He made a fortune as a tradesman and donated much of his wealth to the City of New Orleans school board. He lived the final years of his life enjoying retirement in - you guessed it - Princeton, New Jersey!
