| Description |
English: Patella is a lampshade composed by the overlaying of various strips of etched paper to be mounted via the normal lamp rings sold in shops. The result is to create a soft lighting effect that emanates from the special texture obtained in the paper, inspired by the decorative Arabian motifs found in the Palazzo Abatellis. In exhibition (Musei dei Carta) during the Milan Design Week 2012.
Italiano: Patella è un paralume composto dalla sovrapposizione di vari nastri di carta intagliata da montare grazie a normali ghiere per le lampadine presenti in commercio. Ne deriva un effetto di luce soffusa che filtra dalla particolare texture ricavata nella carta, ispirata ai motivi decorativi di origine Araba presenti nel Palazzo Abatellis di Palermo. In mostra al Musei dei Carta durante il Fuorisalone 2012, Milano. |
