DescriptionPassover Food Box Distribution in Lod 2012 3.jpg |
English: IDF soldiers and other volunteers packed produce, canned food, and other cooking staples into boxes at the Yad B’Yad warehouse in Lod in time to distribute to needy families before Passover. The Fellowship helped to fund the Yad B’Yad program which will feed some 5,000 people from many impoverished communities. Each box includes chicken, fish, dry food, oil, fruits, vegetables and, of course, matzah. Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein was on hand to welcome the visitors and wish them a blessed Pesach. |
