English: Photographer: Unidentified

Location: Longreach, Queensland, Australia
Description: Jundah Mail Transport by Cobb & Co., Longreach, Queensland, ca. 1920. Owner of the 1918 Thornycroft motor vehicle is C. J. (Charlie) Cartwright and the driver is Bill Carroll. In the front passenger seat is Andy Nolan. Other passengers are itinerant workers such as shearers, wool classers and station hands. The motor vehicle has a double chain drive to rear wheels, solid rubber tyres, kerosene lights and a petrol tank mounted on the dash board. (Description supplied with photograph). As well as the seven passengers, the vehicle is loaded with luggage, sleeping bags and large wicker baskets.
