Description
English: In early particle accelerators a Cockcroft-Walton voltage multiplier was used for voltage multiplying. This piece of a particle accelerator helped in the development of the atomic bomb. Built in 1937 by Philips of Eindhoven it currently resides in the National Science Museum in London, England.
