| Description |
English: 12 October 2008. Most of the white parking bay lines were then correctly marked along Park View Road N17 - in the Tottenham Hale Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).
Except this bay - near the corner with Dowsett Road. it did not comply with the Statutory Regulations because it had two transverse white lines. (There should only be one.) My set of photos showing white parking bay lines in Haringey, includes examples from most of the streets within Tottenham Hale CPZ. When I took this photo, every street in the CPZ - with a single exception - had at least one mistake in its lines. In many streets every parking bay end-line was wrong. (The exception was Ladysmith Road. It was originally painted with every parking bay non-compliant, but was resurfaced and re-lined - correctly - in August 2008.) The double yellow lines in this photo are also non-compliant, because they don't end, as required, with a transverse yellow line - a termination or "T-bar". (The correct road markings for both white and yellow lines are shown here in Ladysmith Road.) Those are the facts. Please see the comment below for a discussion of the T-Bar issue. |
