Description
Français : Statue exposée à la Cité de l'architecture de Paris après restauration.

D'après un modèle d'Adolphe-Victor Geoffroy-Dechaume (1860).

Le sculpteur a donné les traits de Viollet-le-Duc au saint patron des architectes. La statue de saint Thomas est la seule à être tournée vers le sommet de la flèche : l'architecte contemple son œuvre.

The sculptor gave the patron saint of architects the features of Viollet-le-Duc. The statue of Saint Thomas is the only one to face the top of the spire: the architect is contemplating his work.
