Description
English: The Mausoleum of the pharmacist Jesús Sánchez Peñuela, in the Los Remedios Cemetery in Cartagena (Spain), is a building that was built in the 1940s or 1950s with the participation of the sculptor Agustín Wenceslao Sánchez Velázquez and an unknown architect. Its tetrastyle facade stands out, with four square columns that support an entablature decorated with allegorical reliefs of life and death, while a winged hourglass is represented on the pediment.
Español: El panteón del farmacéutico Jesús Sánchez Peñuela, en el cementerio de Los Remedios de Cartagena (España), es un edificio que fue construido en la década de 1940 o 1950 con la participación del escultor Agustín Wenceslao Sánchez Velázquez y un arquitecto desconocido. Destaca su fachada tetrástila, con cuatro columnas cuadradas que sostienen un entablamento decorado con relieves alegóricos de la vida y la muerte, mientras en el frontón se representa un reloj de arena alado.
