Summary[edit]

Description
English: Palacio de Hierro (Iron Palace) was Mexico City’s first department store, built in 1891, rebuilt after a major fire in 1914 and reopened in 1921. The reborn building included the extensive stained glass skylights by Jacques Grüber. It is located in the Centro Historico at the corner of Av. 20 de Noviembre and Venustiano Carranza.
