Summary[edit]

Description
English: At the time this photograph was taken, the Nottingham Express Transit system consisted of a long line northwards from the city to Hucknall and a shorter branch partway to a park-and-ride site at the Phoenix Park business estate. Here at the Station Street terminus adjacent to Nottingham's main railway station were two trans, one for each outer destination. Since this photograph, the line has been extended to the south on a bridge across the railway station, and the tram stop has been replaced by on the bridge. The building here is still used as a secondary entrance to that new station, but trams pass through the platforms without stopping.
