Description

Photo taken in the summer of 1965. I think the plane is a Lockheed Constellation, but am not completely sure (see comment below). Does anyone know when PNA switched to the Electra turboprops? The photo was taken on the flight from Kodiak, Alaska to Seattle, Washington.

This overhead shelf, in particular the passenger service panel, behind her right arm, looks an awful lot like a Convair Liner (twin prop 340 or 440). As far as I know, PNA never had the Electras, althought Western Airlines did, and Reeve Aleutian used them as well.

Thanks very much for the information! I misread my source and it indeed says that the Electras were put into service after PNA was absorbed into Western Airlines.
