Description
Español: Conocida como "el cisne volando" es una región de formación estelar en la constelación del Cisne (Cygnus-X). Tomada por el telescopio Herschel destaca caóticas redes de gas y polvo que apuntan a los sitios de formación de estrellas masivas. Esta imagen combina el infrarrojo lejano con datos adquiridos a 70 micras (correspondiente al canal azul); 160 micras (correspondiente al canal verde), y 250 micras (correspondiente al canal rojo). Las observaciones se realizaron el 24 de mayo de 2010 y el 18 de diciembre 2010.
