Stamp of Pakistan; 1962; definitive stamp of the issue "Local Motives"; stamp drawing with one of the pavillons of the "Shalimar Gardens" in Lahore. The print of this stamp was accomplished with print plate II under post-engraving of the Bengali inscription of the country name (upper right); stamp postmarked
Note:
The "Shalimar Gardens" were built in 1641/1642 as Persian gardens near the town Lahore during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (reign 1628-1658).
