| Description |
Polski: Wręczenie nominacji na stopień pułkownika Władysławowi Dąbrowskiemu, weteranowi II wojny światowej. Pułkownik Władysław Dąbrowski ur. 30 sierpnia 1920 w miejscowości Czyszki koło Przemyśla. 22 maja 1941 został wywieziony z rodziną w okolice Nowosybirska do miejscowości Podgornoje. Zwolniony po ogłoszeniu amnestii w sierpniu 1941, trafił do Ałma-Aty, gdzie stacjonowały Polskie Siły Zbrojne w ZSRR. Został ewakuowany przez Krasnowodzk do Iranu. Jego szlak bojowy razem z 1 Karpackim Pułkiem Artylerii Lekkiej wiódł m.in. przez Egipt, Palestynę, Włochy. Jako kanonier walczył w bitwie pod Monte Cassino. Po wojnie pojechał do Wielkiej Brytanii, mieszkał tam przez rok. 15 maja 1947 roku przypłynął statkiem Emipire Speargear do Argentyny. Zamieszkał w Buenos Aires i pracował tam jako stolarz. Zmarł w 2020 w Buenos Aires (Argentyna). |
