Description
Català: Púlpit mudèjar, segle XVI. Procedeix de la Sala de la Limosna de la catedral d'Osca. Restaurat i traslladat el 2008. Museu Diocesán de Uesca. L'anomenada sala de la Limosna era una dependència situada a l'entorn de la catedral i contigua a aquesta zona de claustres, on es va donar assitència a pobres i necessitats des del segle XIV fins a finals del XIX. Juant al banc que recorria els murs de tota sala s'hi trobava aquest púlpit. La sala fou refeta al segle XVi, moment en el qual es degué realitzar el púlpit, decorat amb belles guixeries de tradició mudèjar a base de ornamentacions geomètriques realitzades amb plantilles i modelades en el mateix guix. Aquest púlpit constitueix l'única mostra d'art mudèjar conservat a la ciutat d'Osca.
