Live Stock Poisoning Poisoning troubles are seldomheard of whem , feed is plentiful.Animals instinctively avoid poisonousplants. Most live stock are pasturedon cultivated land, where poisonousplants are not tolerated, but therecomes a time when severe droughtsaffect forage plants and poisonousweeds show up green and temptingto hungry animals. Larkspur often appears prominenton ranges that have been overstocked. Water hemlock also givestrouble under such conditions. Poisoning of domestic animalssometimes occurs after a dry time oncultivated farms
