THEREWITH we give illustrations of two excel-J * lent pieces of furniture designed and manu-factured by Cutting & DELANEY,of Buffalo, N. Y.,who are fast winning a national reputation fororiginal designs and good workmanship. The hatrack is especially noticeable. It was made for agentleman in New York, and was designed for oneof the narrow hallways so common in a city whereland is scarce and costly. The sides of the frameare set obliquely to the mirror plate, and the hooksthus stand at an angle of 450 with the wall, againstwhich the whole is hung, thus producing a markedsaving of space. It is made in carved mahogany.The hall seat, which was made for a prominentcitizen of Buffalo, N. Y., is of dark oak, heavilycarved.—Decorator and Ftirnisher, New York. No. 153. HALL FURNITURE TO ORDER FROM SPECIAL DESIGNS.
