English: Original or Modified? This bridge indicates that there may also have been tramways onto the Canal Wharf, as despite the fresh pointing, the arches seem to be original and particularly the right hand one, which given all the industry in this region in bygone times would have provided plenty of custom from coal, chemicals bricks, and even glass. |
