Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description Breccia feeder dyke(?) to the right and open lava flow tube to the left, since filled by white carbonate-rusty ankerite. Or maybe that breccia is the result of one flow being pushed over another flow. Rocks are vertically dipping and you are looking to the south and along strike. I don't recollect whether left or right is 'up'. The present-day outcrop surface is cracked by joints and marked by glacial striae with bright orange rock lichen (not rust) and some white-grey rock lichen. Proterozoic mafic volcanics, Great Bear Lake, Northwest Territories, Canada.
