Original communication (in danish, english translation below):
Min forespørgsel:
Hej Jonas,
Se evt. teksten her: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/deed.da
Mvh Danielle.
venlig hilsen Jonas
English translation:
My request: Hi Jonas,
Ole sent me a photo that you took, and says that I can use it to illustrate the article about him on Wikipedia. However, I need persmission not only to use it on wikipedia but for all purposes.
It must be published under a free license, f.ex. a GFDL or Creative Commons license. I don't know if you have any experience with this; you may take a look at: http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fri_licens
If it is of any help to you I can tell you that I normally use the license called cc-by-sa-2.5 for my own photos. The license text can be seen here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/deed.da
Best regards, Danielle.
Reply from photographer:
Hi Danielle of course you may use the photo of Ole for the article on Wikipedia. I am familiar with creative commons and the license suggested by you, cc-by-sa-2.5, sounds like the right one in this case.
So I hereby give permission to use the portrait of Ole under Creative Commons license cc-by-sa-2.5.
Best regards, Jonas
