Description
English: Kudalasangama is one of the traditional place in karnataka, India. It is a important centre pilgrimage for lingaytes. It is the Aikya Mantapa of Basavanna who was the founder of lingayat sect of Hindu religion and he worshiped lord Shiva as a symbol of his sect. Basavanna was one of the famous philosopher, poet,social reformer and Lingayat saint. Kudalasangama is a beautiful place where Aikya Mantapa is situated in between Krishna and Malaprabha rivers. The Aikya Mantapa or holy samadhi of Basavanna is indicated by shiva linga.
