en:Sculpture by Gerhard Olbrich at the river Weser, Bremerhaven, Germany de:Sturmflutsäule, 9 m hoch, aufgestellt 1975 vom Kuratorium des Deutschen Schiffahrtsmuseum zur Erinnerung an Sturmflutgefahren wasserwärts des Deiches am DSM. Am Pfahl befinden sich Kupferringe, die die Höchstwasserstände von Sturmfluten anzeigen (1717, 1825, 1906, 1936, 1962, 1973). Auf der Spitze befindet sich ein in Kupfer gearbeitetes Modell der Bremer Hansekogge über eine Weltkugel, drehbar im Wind. Das Model wurde vom Bremerhavener Bildhauer Gerhard Olbrich geschaffen. Mit der Deicherhöhung 2011 wurde die Säule abgebaut und Ringe und Kogge im Archiv des DSM eingelagert. |
