Summary[edit]
DescriptionOkeus or Okie.jpg |
English: Native American Effigy depicting Okeus. Ancient art style is complex,.larger work is comprised of smaller depictions all borrowing from one another other. Depictions will also overlap and repeat gradually reducing in size. With proper lighting a seemingly unremarkable stone will produce a three dimensional effigy sculpture. Rotating 180°, artifact results with a new image properly orientated.
Although not officially confirmed presently, this is one of several artifacts which seemingly contain North America's first discovered ancient "handbag" symbols. It is seen on this artifact near center of mouth area, slightly titled. As stated earier, art style "borrows", thus "handbag" is part of mouth as well. Currently, art form is unknown to mainstream academics. Recovered by J.W. Bopp, Orange County, Virginia, June 2022 |
