Description

English: Brig. Gen. Anne F. Macdonald, right, assistant commanding general, NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan, visits with two children before a ceremony to mark the official opening of Regional Training Center 1, in Jalalabad. RTC 1 is the first all women's training center built specifically to train female Afghan national police officers. After 13 weeks of construction, the self-sustaining training area is now ready for the first class of nine female police officer candidates to begin the 8-week program.
