The Clitoris is a reddish tubercle situated about half an inch be-hind the anterior commissure of the labia majora. It is made up of theglans clitoridis and the two corpora cavernosa, which are separated fromeach other by a fibrous septum. The nerve-supply is large, and on thisaccount it is supposed to be the chief seat of voluptuousness in thefemale (Fig. 1, d). ^ 5.
