Description
English: Figure 1. EHT 1.3 mm baseline coverage for a source at +40◦ declination (a) and −20◦ (b). Baselines to ALMA are shown in red. ALMA baselines extend north-south coverage and are especially important for southern sources, where they fill in a large gap in the (u, v) plane between the intra–northern hemisphere baselines and the very long baselines to the South Pole Telescope.
