Deutsch: Schulklasse bei der Kartoffelernte im September 1942 in Obermillstatt, einem Dorf in der Gemeinde Millstatt am Millstätter Berg (Hochplateau) über dem Millstätter See in Kärnten / Österreich / Europäische Union. Ansicht gegen Nordwesten. Links der Bartl Bauer, in der Mitte die Volksschullehrerin oder die Bäuerin und rundherum vierzehn Kinder. Einige sind barfuß, da Schuhe sehr teuer waren. Im Hintergrund das Kreuz auf der Fresn, weiter hinten der Unter-Herzog Hof. Der Berg im Hintergrund ist der Tschiernock, Teil der Millstätter Alpe. English: School class at the potato harvest in September 1942 in Obermillstatt near Lake Millstatt (Millstätter See), district Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia / Austria / Middle Europe / European Union. View to the northwest. On the left side of the farmer vlg Bartl. In the middle the school teacher or the farmer's wife and all around are fourteen children. Some are barefoot, the shoes were very expensive. In the background, the cross on the Fresn, later the Unter-Herzog Farm. The mountain in the background is the Tschiernock, part of the Millstätter Alpes. |
