English: Plate at the Jonashütte (between Oberbieber and Rengsdorf, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany). Jonas is a given name, Hütte is a shelter. However the text on this plate explains the name jokingly as coming from the dialect spoken in the Westerwald: "Freund komm rän dau wers jo nass" = "Freund komm herein, du wirst ja nass", translated "Friend come in, you're getting wet". (H.V.O. are the initials of the "Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein Oberbieber e.V.".)
Deutsch: Schild an der Jonashütte (zwischen Oberbieber und Rengsdorf, Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland). Das Schild erklärt den Namen scherzhafterweise als vom Westerwälder Platt herkommend: "Freund komm rän dau wers jo nass" = "Freund komm herein, du wirst ja nass".
