Português: O monstro do lago Ness, conhecido popularmente por Nessie, seria um um animal pré-histórico aquático o qual foi relatado ter sido visto no Loch Ness (lago Ness) na Escócia, no Reino Unido por várias pessoas. A sua existência continua sendo um grande mistério, gerando um debate interminável entre os céticos e os que acreditam que ele seria na verdade um remanescente pré-histórico que conseguiu sobreviver chegando a era moderna. Sendo assim, ele é um dos grandes mistérios hoje ainda não solucionados pela criptozoologia, que é considerada uma pseudo ciência.
English: The Loch Ness monster, popularly known as Nessie, would be a prehistoric aquatic animal which was reported to have been seen on Loch Ness (Loch Ness) in Scotland, UK by several people. Its existence remains a great mystery, generating an endless debate between skeptics and those who believe that it would actually be a prehistoric remnant that managed to survive until the modern era. As such, it is one of the great mysteries today not yet solved by cryptozoology, which is considered a pseudo science.
