Description

La Brigada Especial de Inteligencia de las Fuerzas Armadas y Policía Nacional, con participación del Ministerio Público, recuperó a 39 personas (veintiséis niños y trece adultos) que permanecían cautivos y sometidos a adoctrinamiento forzoso por Sendero Luminoso en el VRAEM.


La operación se desarrolló en el sector de San Martín de Pangoa, provincia de Satipo, región Junín. Las patrullas combinadas incursionaron en un campamento donde permanecían niños y mujeres que habrían sido secuestradas hace aproximadamente 30 años, en las localidades de Puerto Ocopa, Shima y Santaro por integrantes de SL. La misión de la operación conjunta, fue reducir al elemento terrorista de seguridad y la recuperación de la masa cautiva.


El viceministro de Políticas para la Defensa del sector Defensa, Iván Vega, señaló que estas personas eran sometidas a un régimen de terror por Sendero, para cuidar sus chacras, preparar alimentos e integrarse a las columnas terroristas. En el caso de las mujeres eran sometidas a embarazos forzados y crianza de niños que a la edad de 12 y 14 años eran desplazados a conformar las columnas terroristas en la zona del VRAEM.


El Gobierno central ha dispuesto que una comisión multisectorial, brinde atención y apoyo inmediato en asistencia médica, psicología, alimentación, vestimenta y albergue. Por otro lado realizarán las acciones necesarias para recuperar sus derechos fundamentales.
