English: Nuraghe la Prisciona / Nuraghe village
Deutsch: Nuraghe la Prisciona / Nuragendorf aus der Bronzezeit bei Arzachena in der Provinz Olbia-Tempio in der Gallura auf Sardinien. Bisher wurden nur die Rundhütten rund um den Hauptturm des Dorfes freigelegt, Der größte Teil des Nuraghen-Dorfs liegt jedoch weiterhin unter dichter Macchia verborgen. Die Forschung geht davon aus, dass Prisciona einst die bedeutendste Nuraghensiedlung Nordostsardiniens war. Seine Architektur, die so genannte Tholos-Bauweise mit falschem Gewölbe und präzise gearbeiteten Steinquadern, ist einmalig in der Gallura. Das Bronzezeitdorf liegt am Rande des fruchtbaren Tals von Caprichera. Die Fundstätte wurde 1959 ausgegraben, aber erst 2009 der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. |
