Description
English: Number one bridge, Regent's Canal The Grand Junction canal originally ran from the Midlands to Brentford, with a busy branch to Paddington. The Regent's Canal was designed as a Thames bypass, taking freight from the Paddington Arm to a purpose-built dock at Limehouse, and opening up all sorts of industrial opportunities along the way.
