Description
English: Natural gas saved by example upgrade programs: the equivalent number of typical US homes that no longer need to burn natural gas for heating and appliances, based on data from various utilities as reported in 2019. Charted quantities are documented in the Wikipedia article titled "Home Energy Upgrades from Public Utilities". California savings are from residential programs of the state's major public utilities during the period from January 2016 through March 2017. Colorado savings are from home and business programs of Xcel Energy in 2018. Connecticut savings are from residential programs of Energize in 2018. Minnesota savings are from home and business programs of Xcel Energy in 2018. Oregon savings are from home and business programs of Energy Trust of Oregon in 2018. Wisconsin savings are from home and business programs of Xcel Energy in 2018.
