| Description |
It's been a tough hiking season this year, a whole lot more snow that normal to start. Compounding that, it's been a cool summer so the trails aren't melting out. We were all pretty happy to get out and do some exploring and photography today. I'm on the left, my son Brian in the middle, and our friend Jeff on the right. We had aspirations to make a hike up to Cascade Pass. Unfortunately, Cascade River Road, which leads to the trailhead, was closed about 2 miles away due to avalanches. Fortunately, we were able to do an great road walk w 138 |
