| Description | Following a sponsorship deal with Emirates, lasting from 2015 for five years, the original plan was to paint the Spinnaker Tower in Emirates' red. This did not go down well with residents of Portsmouth, who objected to Southampton FC colours being on their tower. After a delay, and change of plans, the tower was being painted in Portsmouth FC colours. |
